Wine estate Erwin Wimmer

A brief introduction to our estate!

The Wimmer estate has existed since 1840 and is now run by the 6th generation, currently by Erwin Wimmer junior. The business comprises 8 ha of vineyards and 20 a of orchards. Wetzelsdorf is located in the north eastern part of the Weinviertel, close to the wine town of Poysdorf and approx. 12 km from the Czech border.

Visit us in the local wine tavern „Bauernarnt“ in Mistelbach and spend a few pleasant hours. You can also visit us in the “Schloß-Heuriger” in Wilfersdorf and in the “Dorfstadl” in Erdberg. You will enjoy delicious food such as cold snacks, home-made dumplings, cakes and puddings and family-produced wines in comfortable surroundings.
